Bragg of Bolton, Connecticut, written in pencil. In the same hand writing appears the note, James Monroe Waller put in a head for Henry B. Bragg September 26th, 1861 in the year of our Lord and (and glorious savior) Christ. Henry Bragg was a Private in the CT. Fifth Regiment who fought Bravely at Winchester, Fort Royal and Gettysburg among other battles. The drum is brown wood, with rope and leather tension system still intact. Neither drum heads are present. A very easy complete restoration, it Measures 12″ tall by 17″ in diameter. This Magnificent Piece of our History is from the estate of a very well-known and well-respected lifetime Civil War collector in Upstate New York. This Civil War Drum is Extremely well preserved.
